If you can offer a lift for the weekend, email the Weekend Coordinator (see committee page) before 5pm on the Thursday and/or come along to the Tuesday meeting. Say how many spaces you have for which day(s) of the weekend. Your car will then be filled with enthusiastic skydivers. You will be given a full list of contact details and pick-up locations for your passengers.

If you would like a lift, email the Weekend Coordinator (see committee page) before 5pm on the Thursday and/or come along to the Tuesday meeting. Include your address for pick-up and which day(s) you want to go. You will then be slotted into cars on a first come first served basis.

If you are on a training course, you don't need to do this as we arrange minibuses to get you there.

Students need to be at the DZ by 9:00 and experienced skydivers 8:30 if they want to make the first lift. Therefore, it is usual for drivers to start picking up their passengers at 7:00. This means you are underway by 7:15 and at the dropzone at 8:30. And so you've got loads of time to grab a bacon butty and coffee before the day begins. If you are making the journey for the first time, leave an extra 15 mins or so in case you get lost!

The general rule is that the petrol is split between all passengers in a vehicle. New this year - please pay your outgoing driver for your return journey, even if you then get a lift back through someone else. This prevents drivers losing out when their passengers stay for a longer or shorter time than planned. It works out at about £16 per return journey, which is good value when split between four people.

All lifts will be finalised by the end of Thursday. If you ask for a lift on the Friday, you probably haven't a chance!
